Background:

As part of our class project, we were tasked with identifying a pain-point in our lives that could have an impact on others. I chose to tackle the age-old challenge of fairly dividing household chores and dedicated myself to researching and designing an innovative solution. Given my personal experience with this issue, I strived to create a unique and engaging experience that featured novel elements such as anonymous nudging for housemates who may be slacking, and a collaborative reward system established from the outset. The fact remains that nobody wants to carry the brunt of the workload, and difficult conversations regarding chores can lead to unwanted tension. As such, my ultimate goal was to devise a tailored and effective solution to this all-too-common problem.
